About us...
We are trauma-informed coaches and trainers supporting cross-cultural workers around the world. Having begun our careers in teaching, we then spent 14 years with WEC International; eight in addiction-recovery ministry and then in Member Care.
We have seen and experienced first-hand the toll that cross-cultural work can take. Too many workers are unable to function at their best due to the cumulative wear and tear of life on the field. We believe that workers deserve to thrive, not just cope. Hirundo exists to make that possible.

Hirundo - The Swallow
Swallows have long been associated with perseverance, resilience and faithfulness on life's long journey. Fragile as they may seem, they cross vast distances, drawing on every resource they've been given to find their way home.
They remind and encourage us that even when the way feels hard, great things are still possible. They never try to be another bird. They simply fly and live exactly as they were designed to, gathering what they need for the journey and resting when they must.
